| TR Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ Posts: 246 | Can you tell us more, When does it crash do you get a black or white screen? Is a crash to desktop? Is win7 64 or 32bit? What gfx card is in his PC? What cpu is in PC ? Is the game from steam or DVD? Update drivers, and DX. Try to force game to run in DX9. Try to set sound to 44KHZ 16 bit if duel core CPU. Try deleting the my documents bfbc2 folder? it has helps some with ctd's. I don't think it still holds the video cache files like in BF2, but it still has worked for some. Eliminate possible causes; first update all hardware drivers (video, sound, directX); uncheck/turn options down in BF2 (first DX10->9) and start with turning them on and see when it occurs. I'm running Win7 64, no problems. |
