Frightening ! That aimbot was amazing, especially on Chateau and Brecourt, where the idiot was just standing there and his gun would swing almost 180 degrees from left to right picking off players..... :evil:

To my mind this is even more reason to play on our own servers, 'cos at least we can ban the blighters as quickly as we want...

Makes you wonder what he was getting out of it. Especially when he was just standing there not moving and picking people off after the bot had done all the work for him. Wheres the fun in that?

He could have gotten the same effect (and saw a bit more action) just clicking round the other players in spectate mode and pretended it was actually himself.

These sorts are fooling themselves and will never have the level of skill a proper clean player has.

Not seen the demo's but I've seen enough aimbot demo's in tghe past to know what to expect (The best I've seen has to be a guy who was aimbotting on Hurtgen and killing people from the other side of the valley when he couldn't even see them........with his pistol!! 8O )

Anyway, I digress, PsB (PunksBusted - the guys who get PB ScreenShots put on the MBL) won't accept demo's as proof of cheats as it's too easy to fake a demo, my arguement is that if during the demo you bring down the console and do a /pb_plist to show their GUID then it should be considered for extreme cases like aimbots as a lot of the time they can't be detected by PBSS's.
Oh and the 180deg spin thing is nothing, most aimbots you can set the range that you wish the aimbot to 'see' - you should see someone who has theirs set to 360deg! Spinning around and around like a top shooting everything in sight! :lol:

That is a good point, and should be considered. Perhaps punkbusted should find a way of making a hardened demo that cant be messed with... Maybe with some sort of file hash that would make it obvious if the demo had been tampered with. And encrypt the contents... then sell the idea to games developers...
