I used to do that in actionscrip and such. It was usually directed at the shitness of IE as you have to code everything twice, once to work in a normal browser, again to work in IE (although this only applies to flash in some situations).

I like the one "the user is a wanker" but I think I've done that before too. Mainly just becuase people can't see it and 'cause you can really.
