Ok this is only an idea, but I would like to know what people think.
As you know we all use Teamspeak, but sometimes there does seem to be fluctuations in the sound,so sometimes it gets hard to hear players.

I put a post in a on a C.O.D.forum I`ve joined,as regards this, and this was the reply I got, could we look into this if it`s gonna sound better,I`ll go with what ever people think

If you're having trouble understanding your team-mates, get them to go ahead and get rid of the team-speak server and get Ventrilo. You'll understand them a lot clearer. It's basically like talking on the phone, lol.

yer.. we had discussions about ventrillo few weeks back.... we can buy a hosted one, but it cost tenner a month.... now at the time of the brief discussion there wasnt an overwhelming number of people using TS, but we were going to try ventrillo out hosted on ech0's pooter (he has has a big fat Swedish connection, 2MB upsteam)... that would give us a good indication of whether it would be worth forking out the extra cash or not.

just downloaded the servers.... will stick it on either this machine or the linux box later tonight... sure we can give it a wee blast..... the freebie version is apparently hard coded to only accept 8 connections, good enough for a wee trial, if not, we'll just need to get our hex editors out!
