Right, we sold a couple of pipes or tubes or whatever you call them in UK at work a couple of weeks ago to an employee of the mill I currently am placed at.
Well he asked what he would have to pay for them, and we said like "get us a quality whiskey each and its ok".
Buying them pipes from the proper store would have cost him a fortune...
So he showed up today with a bag and I thought "allright sweet, hand them babies over" and he did.

Try Japanese Whiskey. Its foul to the extreme. The Whiskey Society stuff in scotland is very nice though.

Been a wine drinker for the last 5 years!

I tend to stay away from spirits, i'll drink a pint of vodka/whiskey/rum at the same speed i'd drink a pint of lager.

I've never really like Whiskey ect... Cant see what all the fuss is about. But when I was in the Lakes a few years back I tried some obscure scotish single malt of some description and it was fucking beautiful. Whatever it was I could have drank it all night... if it hadn't been so expensive. Just goes to prove I@ve got expensive tastes, which is a bastard considering I'm poor!

That Laphroaig is very smokey!

Got a pal here from Aberdeen who is a real whisky snob, he imports some choice single malts and at his restaurant he hosts private sessions for his mates in the Stockholm Whisky Society.

Anyway to cut to the chase..a few years ago a few of us were round at a mates watching a game on the telly and at half time we break open the whisky. As we start to pour em up whisky snob goes for a piss so while he's in the bog we replace his single malt with a Bells to see if he'd notice.
He gets back from the bog and starts doing his conneisuer bit, inhaling the odours from his glass and swishing it around, just before he takes a nip he throws his head back and say's "och aye ye can smell the peat, so ye can"! Shame he said that really cos we were falling about laughing before he could taste it and the game was up.

One of the nicest, I drink is Black Bush.

The bushmills 21year old malt is devine (Very expensive), I got a bottle for my Birthday.


It is an Irish Whiskey by the way.

my fav whiskey has to be glenmorangie - expensive tho, and glenfiddich if i can't get glenmorangie.

Other than that my fav liquor has to be Jack Daniels.

hahaha, that is the most disgusting stuff on the market! We have a few whiskey drinkers that are round here a lot, as well as being partial to the odd dram, they love shit for free.. Last bottle of that we opened went down the drain, nuff said
