It is with great regret that I will be unable to continue the work on
CoDHQ.

This was by no means an easy decision for me to make, but with certain
factors in my life and my workload ever increasing, I unfortuantely
have little choice.

What does this mean to the community - Well that depends on whether
anyone wishes to take over the site and its domain name.

What is For Sale ?
-----------------------------

The domain name - callofduty.org.uk
All the site code as is
Backed up mySQL database as is
Suggestions on what to do next
Crash course on how it currently works. (Not on PHP Coding)
Opportunity to earn money from the on-site advertising to cover hosting
or whatever.
** You will need to know or know someone who knows how to code in PHP
to further the site and complete uncompleted sections.

Whats The Price ?
------------------------------

Im open to offers - no timewasters please I dont have time to haggle
The final price should include £ 30.00 + VAT for the domain name
transfer by Nominet

If youre interest and want to make an offer, or would like any further
info, please email [Only registered and activated users can see links]

Why The Sale ?
----------------------------

Im selling because I simply no longer have time to continue the coding
and the day-to-day updating of the site.

What Will I Need To Continue The Site ?
------------------------------------------------------

A knowledge of PHP and mySQL or someone who does, to help with the
coding of the site.
Webhosting for PHP including at least 1 mySQL database (bandwidth at
least 10gb/mnth)

What Remains To Be Completed ?
----------------------------------------------

War History section
Automation of the Ladder score updating
Other admin pages and functions you feel necessary

DeleteReplyForwardSpam Move...

im quite surprised the site wasnt a team effort.. then if one person leaves it doesnt have a massive impact ....suppose that shows the dangers of something being owned and run by one person

i doubt if he will find a buyer.. better just to give it away.. but even then you would be hard pressed to find anyone with the skills, dedication and time to do it

Sad indeed and I hope it can continue but it has to be said that it has gotten to be a Rage clan run thing over there.

When I first joined up there the admins (bar one) weren't clan members and remained for the most impartial.

This isn't the case anymore cross Rage or any of their mates and you are in for a rough and unjust ride (as we found out)

We need to look for a another ladder site.

Rince do you still have the link to the site you spoke of last month? I was sure I'd stuck it in me faves but cannot find it .

Might not be a good night to be talking of such matters, I'll either be steamboats or I'll have an headache, possibly both.

Ta for the link anyway. I'm not sure CODHQ will crack I think someone will come in and save it.

No harm in us being in another ladder at the same time.
