put in if you'll be able to trun up to most of the tournaments matches

place a number when you post then that will be you nuber for that team

l'm not asking for numbers just incase anyone thinks its the old rince system just so we have plenty for each side

remember to do it like 1 2 3 4 5 6

just in case someone puts a number in because its lucky number lol

2 Maggot

(Aside from Thursdays when I play sport, I seldom get more than 2 late shifts in a week which should mean I can play between 4-6 evenings a week - certainly on my rota till 7th Nov there's no probs....though I see it doesn't start till 8th November  Anyhow, should be able to get to 75% of them.)

should be ok rince... we will be given generous "play by" dates and we can always arrange matches for sundays or other days which might suit

Like rince, I would love to join in..but don't want to let anyone down by not being available..I am not usually free till about 9 - 9.30.

Would this still be Ok ?

i believe the matches can start anytime between 7pm and 9pm during the week so if you can make it for 9pm that should be ok

lol don't worry willow because rince is upset because there team logo is a terrapin and the worse they can do is to give you a nasty bite to the finger

Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I have a question over this tournament.

On monday we were playing CoD running through a bunch of maps on TDM and truth is whilst it was noisy, chaotic and very busy.....it wasn't exactly fun. And we all ended up saying this is dull, let's have some HQ and S&D.

So my question is, whilst it's nice to have a tournament, do we really want to find ourselves committed to a chunk of games on TDM for several weeks of matches?

I will quite happily pull whatever weight I can in the Terrapins - I'm just wondering if this is something everyone wants to do.

i thought you enjoyed the ship map maggot?

Well, it was nice to find out what people had been talking about when it came up, and it was nice to spot the flaw in the standard tactic everyone seems to use at first which is go Up for a view of the ship (the flaw being manouverability sucks up there).

But even on favourite maps the chaos that ensues basically boils down to DM style rather than TDM and as someone said it's about individual play in that situation.

If you wanted to win games in the tournament you'd be better off selecting the cream machine gunners from T&R and making a single killing team, I'd have thought.

i see where youre coming from mr maggot and i do agree.. but i think it will be only one match a week and i think we should support the wild bunch and join in ... plus TDM in a proper clan match makes it much more interesting

also we get to play each team twice which will be good to see how we suss out their play tacticsand vica versa .. plus we will have to play team R .. yipee

no one has to committ if they really dont like tdm.. thats perfectly cool

Well I guess I'm in - the only nights when I probably wont be available are Fri & Sat when real-life intervenes and I'm forced to drink alcohol. Sob.

As I said in a previous post there is no way that I can be available for a tournament due to my shifts.
That may change next year when I take my HGV, but at the mo its a no no 8)

Sorry for the lateness of my post to this thread  . I should be OK for most matches if they are after 9pm, apart from Thursdays and Sundays, which are my bestest days, when I can play earlier.

villan
russell

falkwing
joe

so thats one team of 7 players

do we go with this?

If those people are available then they should come first. I reckon we could just register everybodies name (grab it from the team T & R rosters) to be on the safe side. That way we should never be caught out, what do you think?

Maggot

I go with Echo's call on this. Aside from anything else of the 7 you've listed pup(incidentally what happened to you on it :P ), there's 4or5 happy machine gunners in rab, russ, falkwing, villain & Joe. Trust is a rifleman who's also a gunner and for all I'm willing, you might as well give me a billy club as a machine gun.

If everyone's listed then we usually have 5+ turn up on a night, and can use the cream gunners / willing bodies per session.
