(magazine is suggesting an April release though the site FAQ doesn't mention a release date and the game is still running it's beta so don't hold your breath)

I was never a BF fan but both of these look potentially entertaining.

Yea read those, BF1943 looks tasty and they have crammed it into 350mb, damn thats small:grin:
What also looks nice is the new operation Flashpoint from codemasters

we used to play operation flashpoint on LAN and it was a very satisfying team game tho very hard.

Yes, BF1943 looks good, but as I have said before I am willing to make a small wager that these will NOT get the thumbs up from TR!

BF1943 is small because it will be download only- 350Mb is the limit for the XBox Live Arcade.

It will have only three maps and you won't to spend ages ranking up.
Also the health will be regenerative like most of the latest FPS's.

Your so right Wags could not agree more, seems no matter what we try in the clan there are those that will not agree.

It would be so nice to have lots of different servers in the clan running lots of different game types,MMo'S included then me and Willo can play AOC as well, or WOW, or LOTRO, or Lineage 2 ,......."well I can dream cant I" :wink:.

As it is I have gone back to playing AOC with a time card, but still play LOTRO as well, you just cant beat a good gay MMO :wink::grin:.

Saying all that I did enjoy the Flashpoint games, and played them all.
They remind me a lot of COD 4, or should I say COD 4 reminds me of them.

Shifty, you tried Warhammer Online-Age of Reckoning damn addictive and the PvP is mad.

They claim the new Flashpoint game will be easier to get into so I assume that means it has been dumbed down a bit from the original and of course ARMA 2 is due out soon by the dev team that did the original flashpoint a multitude of fragging.

Not a great fan of PvP Kingy, would sooner play PvE anytime.
Thing that gets annoying with PvP is the peeps who wait outside spawn areas for you cloaked, so they creap in, and stab you.
Thats what got annoyong in AOC, and is why I play it in PvE now.

Thats what got annoyong in AOC, and is why I play it in PvE now.

Its PvE or PvP its upto you and they dont exactly camp spawns cause if they do the NPC guards kick their butts.
Being part of a city raid to take the oppositions capital is great fun.
