Whoa... Crysis-Online has posted the minimal and recommended system reqs for CryTek's upcoming DX10-based shooter Crysis.

Minimum Requirements

CPU: Athlon 64 3000+/Intel 2.8ghz
Graphics: Nvidia 6600/X800GTO (SM 2.0)
RAM: 768Mb/1Gb on Windows Vista
HDD: 6GB
Internet: 256k+
Optical Drive: DVD
Software: DX9.0c with Windows XP

Recommended Requirements

CPU: Dual-core CPU (Athlon X2/Pentium D) <<<<<<<<<<<<
Graphics: Nvidia 7800GTX/ATI X1800XT (SM 3.0) or DX10 equivalent
RAM: 1.5Gb
HDD: 6GB
Internet: 512k+ (128k+ upstream)
Optical Drive: DVD
Software: DX10 with Windows Vista

Talk about next-gen games, this truly is one of them.

doesnt have to

no dx10 cards are released yet but i would reccomend any1 thinkin of getting dx10 cards wait for the 2nd gen ones remember the first gen dx9 cards had loadsa problems

game looks really sweet my specs are good enuf for max too bring it on:smile:

Hmm should be able to play it then at full bore except for GFX card, haven't got one of the new shiny next gen DX10 supporting cards and I bet her in doors won't let me buy a new one when they come out.

Does that mean it'll use both barrels of a dual core AMD?

Speaking of which, if I got a dual core AMD X2, would I need to upgrade my XP Home to take advantage of em?
