It seems that the Kar is 'devastating' with a single shot....so best not tell Trust
I recall that Kingy and Shifty were very positive about this game a while back, so maybe worth a 'looksee'... :?:

have to say, i aint impressed with it... it aint bad or anything, it did have a real crappy feel to it...
not for me... even though i was kicking arse at it :p
Tried it this morning. Nice looking maps, models, effects and weapons but no lean keys. Only the rifle allows you to aim down the barrel so all the other gunning classes such as Thompsons, MP40's etc means it's pretty much a point and click* game even though there is a real kickback off the guns (not the rifles) if you spray in the general area you hit the target. Lots of similarities with Red Orchestra in some of the model movement and general feel but DOD is a tad better and not as twee.
My verdict is good fun but I wouldn't play it often enough to warrant buying it.
If you try it tonight have fun, I'm out on the lash again. :P
*So some will like it! haha

Have folks been playing this.........is there a verdict?
For myself I couldn't get the ruddy thing to find any servers.....which is weird cause Steam got by my firewall fine. I'm not however going to chase it up unless there's a strong lean towards the game.

I was going to download it today, but after reading Ech0's and Col's posts I dont think I'll bother. Unless anyone else has good things to say about it?

I bought it when it first came out, expecting great things from it, personnally i found it to be total doggy dodo's! And so took it back for Cossacks 2 which was equally as unpleasant
"concludes at 1:00 p.m Pacific time on July 10th"
damn! is that like in about 5 minutes time?
i possibly may not have enough time to download it
