CoD1 Custom Server - Map Pack

The CoD1 Custom Server - 84.234.17.54:28962 is now up and running a new config of custom maps.

Download the map pack here:-

It's all the maps (10) from the current configuration in a 50 Mb Zip file.

Extract the contents of the zip (pk3 files) to your CoD1 'main' directory.

NB.
These are the latest version map/pk3 files, so use these and not a previous version.
It might be better to delete any similar named map file to avoid any problems/conflicts in game.

The server plays a mix of HQ, RE, SD & TDM.
If you play continuously, all the maps will repeat but with a different gametype e.g. SD first time , HQ next etc.

Villan, thanks for setting up the Custom map server. Most enjoyable last night.

Will you be able to do your magic on the COD2 TDM server a la FK? i.e awe mod, custom maps etc etc, please. :D

installing mods is quite a bit different than putting on maps and changing the config files

and i think villan only has access to the cod1 server

i would prefer no one other than someone who has the knowledge and experience to start messing about installing mods as it can easily go horribly wrong and col wont fix it

plus we have about 10 servers running already, which is quite a bit of work for col to admin each week

for now i think we should just enjoy the custom maps server and play on the FK one to enjoy that mod when we want

Fixed the problem with the "bad command byte: cl_parsegamestate"

The version of Arkov with artillery doesn't work - I've replaced it with a version that doesn't have artillery
and tested the server can rotate to all maps. :D
