I was pulling out of the road near my house this morning on my way to work and trying to look both ways at the same time because of all the cars parked up and down the road blocking my excellent but not x-ray vision. I was well out when I looked up the road and saw another car on coming, and coming quickly I might add.
From my perspective I had already looked that way and saw nothing so had looked the other way to make sure everything was still ok down the road. It was, so I checked back up the road and saw this new car coming at me and being driven by an irate looking woman.
From the irate looking womans point of view I was pulling out and looking the wrong way which is obviously dangerous, so she got all irate. The fact she was speeding seemed to be beside the point.
Now, the interesting thing about this story is that I read her lips and she seeemed to be saying "Will-Of-God" which I found quite profound and surreal. But she might just have been saying "ohh-my-god" or something along those lines, posibly with a swear word thrown in for good measure. I'll leave you to ponder that one as I did!
In the end she didn't bother slowing down and letting me out and just swerved onto the other side of the road and drove off.
