Is it just me of does DX10 seem to just be a blurred option with slightly better creation of light and shadow? Just looking at the stills (and they're a bit low res) I kind of prefer the DX9. (Hfire will put me right I'm sure :p )

Not just you. Although I did think the jungle looked much better in the DX10 mode.

You young pup! Maybe it's your eyesight!

To me the lighting in the DX10 jungle was better as it looked more like shafts of sunlight, but this was offset with a very blurred image. In a game where you need to see to shoot I always find an excess of special effects leads to a quick death.

i agree its same as cod2 where every1 plays in dx7 cos its easier to see

The lighting effects are better in DX10 on that jungle movie, but are not so impressive that I would upgrade my whole PC for it just yet......

Oh well will have to get used to crysis in DX9 as I can't afford to update my pc or put in a DX10 gfx card.
DX10 versions look pretty cool though but still looks damn good in DX9 which is good.
Anyone know what the PC requirements are to run it in full bells and whistle mode ?

Quake wars out shortly, strogg bashing time.....Yay.
