Sorry Bennny BG will not be on my christmas list this year. :D
Just recently I formatted my machine thinking I could fix a problem that I had with a HIDSERV file....................what happened it did`nt work 8O 8O .
I later found out that I had to go to the registry ,and put one in myself,all because he just could not be bothered.
Anyway least it works now. :D

Me and Mcgue actually wrote Bennys will one night, we agreed what stuff we were getting each.... it was as inegrate as this and Benny can confirm he owns these....

There are better restore facilities than the inbuilt windows one...... There is an old saying that goes something like this...

If you make something idiot proof, they'll just make better idiots :D

System restore is just a light weight restore facility, being inbuilt it can suffer from many problems itself. Third part solutions can be much better and more complete, yet more complex, time comsuming and require more resources. For instance, it's plain stupid to backup a drive to the same drive, however the system restore facility is not meant for that, I'll bet that most have used the restore facility and sorted something at one time or another, even me :p

hey, it was a slow night that night and we felt generous.

Actually all i did was download the latest Nvidea drivers for my new graphics card and then followed the instructions, which said remove the old drivers, i removed the drivers and that was that, fuck all worked, no internet connection or graphics or fuck all, so i am back on the old drivers.
