US containment policy

something i read about a while ago...
the USA have a containment policy that when events occur..ie when something goes tits up ...they just surround the event and sit back and wait and hope it doesnt spread

i suspect they did this today in virginia as they have done in other events such as wakko.. sit back, dont go in or be agressive and wait

did they do that today for those 2 hours inbetween the killings?

something has got me really angry about this tactic if thats what it was, cos so many people die ... or maybe its simply down to everyone kid, dickhead, angry individual being allowed permission to own a gun

Nar, i suspect there is a particular sense of "it wasnt our fault" scenario.... one must keep in mind that the US have 5 (i think) law enforcement agencies, all with different powers.

Lets just assume 3 should be involved in this sham. It would be very easy to assume that the first on scene are dealing with everything and the first on scene assume its a matter for the higher authority. Sure i would think they have shit set in stone to deal with this, but as far as i aware there is no central authority set in place to oversee everything start to finish.

note: not being overly familiar (mostly here say) with the US ways, take the above lightly.

You will never stop crazy people doing crazy things and you wont stop crazy people without taking down innocent people in the process. However, allowing ever other nutter to legally access a gun is not good, and with so many guns floating around, plenty must be on the black market. I think the stats would show that by not allowing guns to be accessible to joe nutter, such atrocities will only take place when the most determined maniac is involved.

The US is a shit hole of a place. If you aint a white middle class fucker, you risk the possibility of getting banged up for a long time over very little. The place is full of lazy self serving halfwits, run by a gun toting red neck who encourages unlawful retribution for personal gain and gratification. Which is apparently OK thing to practise if you have plenty of cash. YEE-HAA
