A friend of Mels has asked me to tell him what kind of memory is in his PC. I downloaded one of the apps that Russ posted in the apps thread and ran it. Its come back with this (see below).

If he goes to PC World and speaks to one of the muppets in there for some SDRAM, will he get the right stuff?

Plain SDRAM is ok then?

I've never fully understood what the differences are with RAM... DIMMS, SIMMS, SDRAM, DDR, DDR2... Does it need to be installed in parallel???? Confusing as fuckery!

Odin, what you got? Is it suitable and how much do you want for it? Let me know and I'll ask him if he's interseted.
