Yes indeed we were, nothing wrong with big sols' goal. But as an honest England fan i must admit, the better side on the night did win :(

We played like all the players had done a marathon prior to the game, no energy no confidence and ended up trying to defend a slender lead for a full 80 odd minutes. A shame indeed if ever we had a chance to do somthing it was with the present team, i really had high genuine hopes.

Still all the same players have a world cup left in them, lets move on and hope for the future.

i had to hide in the bathroom while the penos were taken listenin through my hands over my ears like this would protect me from bad news

had a weep when it ended, switched me phone of and just got in bed, gutted

we did play badly in the second half, but at the end of the day it was 2-2 at the end and down to penalties, so it was still anyones to win, which makes it worse really

anyways after mutual counselling sessions at work today im feelin much better :(

now i'm as big a footy fan as anyone, but i'm willing to say what no-one seems willing to - it was definatley a foul on the keeper when sol's goal was disallowed - john terry was impeding the keepr - he had his arm over the keeper's shoulder, and sol was climbing on john terry - extra weight to keep the keeper down. you can clearly see in the replays that the keeper was trying to jump up, but couldn't. sorry guys - but we didn't deserve the goal - if it was them scoring the goal, and james impeded we'd have all screamed blue murder - look deep inside - you know this to be true

i disagree. the two english players had already jumped and then the shitty keeper jumped into them, the stupid git

i beg to differ - the keeper was already on his toes - you can clearly see him trying to jump, but unable. it makes no difference whether terry or campbell knew he was there - according to the rules of the game it is a foul. ask yourself the question - if it had happened at our end would you want a foul called - if the answer is yes then the same must apply for them and consistency is something everyone is always complaining about in referees - there can't be one rule for one, and another for another.
