hi all l've been using a great browser called firefox 0.9 in the past l gave mozilla a wee shot
firefox this is based on the mozilla codebase and it is a little faster than mozilla but hell of alot faster than internet exploler when loading web pages
l find using firefox a joy to use and would say 10 times better ;) than IE and l'll not easly impressed.
((wohoo a penny))
ok maybe l am but it is worth giving it a shot l've put down a couple of links on how to use it and some reviews
l would like just to say you can get extentions or you can call it plug ins you would need to reinstall flash and you can get a IRC chat tool called chatzilla
and browse the internet using Tabs instaed of all the windows opened on the task bar and it is alot more secure
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
heres qustion you could be thinking
Is Firefox more secure than Internet Explorer?
Yes, Firefox and all other Mozilla-based products are more secure. Why? Here is a list of the most important reasons:
* It is not integrated with Windows, which helps prevent viruses and hackers from causing damage if they somehow manage to compromise Firefox.
* There is no support for VBScript and ActiveX, two technologies which are the reasons for many IE security holes.
* No spyware/adware software can automatically install in Firefox just by visiting a web site.
* Firefox doesn't use Microsoft's Java VM, which has a history of more flaws than other Java VMs.
* You have complete control over cookies.
l'll let the reviews and how tos do the taking
