Ok, so they haven't got any customers yet and it's only in London, but if it puts pressure on other providers to lower their prices/increase speed then so much the better. :D

i have read in depth on this... and from what i have read it is highly unlikley they will be able to achieve those quoted speeds in the majority of cases. IMHO, even if you only got 12Mb for under £50/month it would be fantastic, however, you are always going to get people that will not be happy at not getting the 24Mb they were quoted.

Don't know how many will be willing to compete with those sort of prices, however i do suspect that them prices for them speeds might just be part of the hype to generate free publicity. Cable providers will unlikley be able to match those speeds without a huge investment/commitment.

It'll be interesting to see how this one pans out.

Is there any news on telewest increasing speeds? It feels like ages since they last bumped us up and I'm starting to think about some of the 4mb services that are out there.
