hehe, this crazy mofo stuck his whole pc(no drives) inside a fish tank filled with cooking oil... works a treat :), but i'll take his word for it!

Not such a far fetched idea, after all powerstation transformers which carry more voltage/current than that guys pc use vast amounts of transformer oils.
Dont know what the breakdown voltage is for chip oil but got to be high enough to run a pc in it.
This guy is a smart cookie if you ask me, as long as the entrained water content is low he should be ok. :lol:

Errm sort of work somewhere that used to produce transformer oils and the like and having tested some of the stuff know some of the things you can do with it.
Suprised it took this long for some one to actually have a go.
