there has been some recent abuse of linking to personal avatars, ie linking to avatars so big they take up most of the forum (spanked bottom for envoy and willo). So for now the facility to link to off-site ones has been taken off.

so if you want your personal one back on then you must upload to the forum instead and comply to the kb size, width and height rules, else it wont upload

she did... but envoy made a super duper large one... so rather than me having to add some code to sort out all the problems, i turned third party hosting avators off as not to cause anymore problems.

It generally aint allowed most places and had only been allowed here cos we had an image upload problem with an older verion of the board :(, but not now.
