Custom Maps

Mr Maggot and I chatted about this briefly t'other night in TS and we both expressed how we miss the custom map server.

Any chance of having a custom map evening or three soonish, please ?

Very much so - as you say we were chatting about it and I miss some of the very fine maps that were found for us.

(And I want to try Brecourt in snow).

Another point that's come up on UO sessions is how good it would be if we could play the modified UO version CoD maps in pure CoD. Anyone know if such things exist and if we could get hold of them?

there is an FTP account and the details for it are posted in the server section... you want a map on... upload it there and let us know.... tis essntially Trust role to look after this stuff, but hasn't been re-equainted with it as yet since the server move and obvious other issues.

Cheers Col. I was wondering whether the excellent custom map compilations put together by Trust were still around i.e. at little extra work could these go 'live' or is it a case that because of the new server etc that each map would have to be added again ???

no all the custom maps are on the new server, that is one of the reasons we timed it so that we had the 2 different servers running at the same time, that way col could transfer everything over without having to upload everything from scratch

we should look to organising a custom map night again on Tuesdays like before if trust is willing to volunteer again?

Thanks for putting on the custom map server (Russ/Col ?).

It was great fun last night and made a pleasant change from the 'stock' maps that we otherwise play ad infinitum.
