Echo, that isn't sad...Petanque is a great game. Many years ago when I was a teenager/early 20's I played in a local Whitbread Cup league. Good luck ! :D

Match Type: S&D

10 v 10 min/possible 15 v 15.
Punkbuster: on
Pure server only
FF off.
No Snipers
Weapons : All except Sniper rifles and fg42
Maps : Standard British and American maps only or Custom maps but only if
agreed by both parties.

1x20 min warmup map (usually mp_Depot etc,) to allow for stragglers.

Away clan choosing 1x40 min maps
Home clan choosing 1x40min maps.

Each clan will choose a champion to fight a nade bash at the start of each
map.
The winner will gain the right for his clan to choose what side they wish to
play first.
ALL other players will go into spectator mode to watch.

Each Clan plays the map twice once as Axis and once as Allies

Team choice on our own maps.

The Clan with the most rounds after 20 mins wins the map.
The Clan with the most round wins over both maps takes the game.
Screenshots will be taken at the end of each map to verify scores.

l'm totally fine with the custom map and the total war mod the thing about the total war mad it would kinda change gameplay and not what we have be training for and it would be a unfair advantage to the other side who proply use it all the time heres a link to the mod

it adds all diffrent stuff like classes and players can get injured l feel it changes to much but it is a mod and not what we have been useing.

but l'm ok with it if every one is wanting to try it

but we'll get whats the word l'm looking for

I have played the total war a number of times :D
but there are good and bad things about it 8O

First the Bad "or I dont like" getting the dizzy bit when a nade comes close,you get dazed,and thats bad as you just become a target,who does`nt know what his doing :( the second is losing you`re hemet which aint that bad,as when you shoot them you can sometimes see there`s come off :D but you can also lose you`re weapon by being shot or should I say wounded :(

Good bits,"or things I like"it does change the way the maps are,and you can be different types of soldiers,ie A Medic,Foot Soldier,and I`ve seen engineers aswell 8O
I like to look up and see the bombers coming in for there bomb runs aswell,and seeing the flashes of the explosions,sometimes when you look into the distance you can alao see flashes of gun fire lighting up the sky.

As for me I`ll play,and go with the flow,By the way is there a password :?: as I did`nt see one 8O

russell i know what your saying...i'm totally sure that if we decide we prefer a straight forward S&d game with default maps then the lovely TWB clan would have no problem with that at all

some of us had a go at total war mod tonight on the wild bunches server and it was good fun , but my feelin is lets do a straight forward s&d match with them on the 13th as we wont all have time to really get to know the new maps and the total war mod in the next 2 weeks.. then say the the match we have with them the next month after we go for the new stuff
